Why the heck was this in the "Recently Added" section? What happened?

It's not wrong. They're 2 separate series and the Chapter numbering started over again with this one. This way the chapter numbers will be correct.

No, there's a QC up for the next chapter on /u/. There are 2 corrections to the QC, so whenever somebody makes the changes they'll probably post chapter 50. Chapter 51 has been TL'd but nobody's typeset it yet.
See also: This series gets released every other month, so there's 2 months between releases instead of 1 month like normal manga.

I know; I’m referring to how MangaDex has handled the series.
They removed all the content from the "Kase-san series" to merge it with "Yamada to Kase-san." And when they finally separated them, they stripped the sequel of all its followers and ratings.
