Well that's a little weird but there is a romance tag so it could be worse , it was an 'award' winning series so i imagine it won't be too sleazy but i can totally imagine there being 'slightly above average' guys hitting on 'average/ugly/chubby' girls to get laid just b/c they're more likely to say yes, depending on their self esteem issues

But given that those girls drag her to mixers i'm surprised they aren't more upfront like "oh your club mate is handsome, introduce me!"
