i would say that yes, a background explaining why he is like that would make it more understandable too but sadly that "all women are bitches" misogynistic behavior is, sadly, kind of default for a lot of men. Mostly driven for insecurities fed by social media etc

I wanna say he's idiot, and he is, but... that whole "I know everyone true nature and don't trust any of them" attitude is too realistic. I hate admitting it, but I was that teenager, just sitting silently and judging anyone whose voice went over a certain volume, apparently, just...it kind of hurts how accurate this is.

Hard to see how an editor would be convinced, especially if it’s the mangakas first attempt. Story is generic and art looks relatively unpolished.

Mangakas usually don’t succeed on their first pitch.

Even if it’s serialised it would be vulnerable to all the usual tropes from editor meddling. Even the best ones that are new have this problem.
