This shit got axed likely because the author was competent enough to make readers care about him being a MAX LEVEL SAGE yet the first thing he does after becoming a japanese is run away from all females.
So even if it has an harem tag it would offend the japanese reader for rejecting the harem at the same time.
Like going to a steak restaurant, asking for steak and getting it denied it from the staff nuh uh.

The manga had a cool concept, horrible execution. Every character feels wasted or not relevant enough to even care. Sad could have been great if they decided to introduce each character one at a time and see how they adapt to a normal world and make like every EX super weird in different ways. Also don't make the MC the lamest shit ever if he was supposed to be "cool" in the other world

Yep I literally said in chapter 6 that it may get axed, and it got axed in 13 chapters. Next chapter is ending.

What a shame, author simply couldnt handle the premise. The idea was good, having 7 yandere harem was interesting but since protag was only running away from them and he literally never let protag met any of them (he only met a single character in 2 years of publish) everyone lost interest in it, hence got axed with only a single volume.

I doubt author will get any more serialization after this, while art is great unfortunately he suck very much at writing and pacing.

Basically just like the comment above said, had a cool concept but horrible execution. Should have included one heroine per time and let them adapt to the modern world & get a relationship with protag and other heroines while carrying the yandere aspect even if its suppressed.

A very big shame, I was very interested in the first chapter and thought I'd definitely buy this as it continues, but now definitely not buying at all.

Is absolutely wild politicking between characters that we haven't seen nearly enough of to care about at all. It's also weirdly difficult to tell them apart, or at least remember who they are, despite their wild designs
I'm reminded of the Plinkett Phantom Menace review. Because the characters know all these things they never bother to explain it out loud. You need a fish out of water character to have things explained to, so they can be explained to the audience. Which is typical in Isekai stories.

What's strange is that Gremory is that character and they do explain the harem's backstories and powers to her. Offscreen.

At least give us one page character bios at the end of every chapter (with their three sizes).

This manga makes me depressed, because I like the art and I love the ideas. I can tell that the mangaka spent a lot of time on the character concepts and the world building, but he's completely unable to communicate any of that to the audience.

The art style is incredible but yeah, I agree with the other comments that it really just didn’t grab your attention in the way many others had. So many characters without getting the time to get to know them properly really does mess up what you’re supposed to be paying attention to at any given time.

I can see why it got cancelled but it is a shame.

... Eh, this was pretty clearly still setting foundation for its plot. I would sorta get being evaluated for an axe if you got twelve chapters of setup and not much else...

Bt apparently this was being looked at as early as chapter 6. Like, come on people. Complex stories need to set foundation. And the first pursuer came over in chapter 4. We WERE getting detailed looks at characters spaced out, they were just foreshadowed all at the start.

If you read it in one go or read it like volume by volume then I agree with you,

But in reality this manga took 16 months of publish time yet was still on the setup area so people lost the interest on it.

You cant really take 2-3 years just to build a foundation, specially if you are not a popular mangaka, people will simply drop it and you'll get axed. Not to mention in 16 months only a single character managed to meet protag and dude is still determined to send them back if they ever come to his world.

Author was taking it so slow that probably he needed at least 100 chapter or something to bring all characters together and start the "yandere" part, which was impossible to begin with.

Edit: Just to be clear, I never wanted it to be axed or said it deserved it etc. I'm just saying the axe was predictable. Personally I'd prefer to read at least 30 chapters and see whats author cooking but its just he cooked way too slow and you could see the axe was incoming, manga serialization is quite unforgiving towards new authors so he should have focused on getting attention of readers as well.
