Honestly? I don't see Chita as a romantic type. And I think it would be interesting to have a non-romantic pair in this manga, since the other two pairs are already couples.

Tokio hooking up with someone else and Chita just being her own thing, and growing as a character to understand that things change over time would be a good angle.

Setting aside whether those three girls are gay (they seem more like praising fans here than anything else, given Chita doesn't address or interact with them once in that whole scene), your logic would necessitate that Anju, Toyoda, and Tokio are all also gay, by virtue of hanging around the hypothetically-gay Chita.

The thing is not that she's flawed. Plenty interesting characters since the beginning of storytelling are flawed (Gilgamesh and Enkidu are; Odysseus is; etc). The problem is that she's not entertaining. Nothing engaging about her as it is, and she's showing no growth. This whole chapter's actual development could fit in a couple sidenote frames in a chapter about someone who matters.

I can't imagine bothering to comment that I skipped a chapter.

I get people have Chii-Chan hate, but do people really skip chapters in series for things like that? If I’m going to watch/read anything, I want to see all of it, good or bad. Are people really okay with missing parts of the story?

Also not a bad chapter, they were actually having fun. Tokio is going to gain A massive amount of weight if he keeps this up though.
