Weird how Mayami isn't even thinking about ways she could change her own fate herself... quite unlike and despite the words of her lover, who would readily lose the maid café of his dreams just to live with her. Who knows which one is the more mature.
It's also interesting to note that the Manager himself states he considers his situation similar to Manabu's in previous chapters, considering how Shinobi originally intended Mayami to be yan/tsundere for her brother.

Yeah, real mayami is the best, i mean, of course the other is still her, but as she said, she is just copying him, this is her true attitude, she even acts infront of her granpa so he doesnt see her true face. And that part in which he says that she is a masochist so she can receive her punishment from what she did to her brother actually got me thinking, could it be truth? Since she denied it but seems like that was the case, and that just piles shit even more. Still, she always hinted she was like this, and was fun to watch, but somehow things got depressing of why she is like that

I'm finally content with those two. I really wanted a more longer plot for them but I guess it's fine.
