That TL note at the end made me laugh, then I checked what other series they're translating and could only say "Yeah, I agree" (even though I read that 150 year old cat god series too lol.)

I had the same thought as other posters in terms of her likely being fine if she just dropped out and went all-in on science, but the premise could be fun so I'm fine with it. Hopefully the character writing isn't too trope-y and outdated since this kind of story lives or dies by how enjoyable reading the interactions between the leads is.
