It's that OP aim assist that Apex have, and it feels like the game from the manga is inspired on it. It's been almost 2 years since i've stopped playing it so i don't know if they toned the aim assist down, but it was the reason why even pro players would use controller on that game, at a certain range it felt like it was impossible to win vs a controller user.
