I'm still not convinced that the girl everyone was describing in this chapter was Kobachi. although, to be fair, what happened to her does feel pretty on-brand considering how clumsy and careless she usually is
and Hisui was even random idiot in here, she doing a random breakdance in the middle of the people.

One thing i like here is character consistency.
Protag's perchance for keeping people at a distance, which was part of the reason for the confess or not drama with senpai, also comes up here with Kobachi.
imo, a good story is driven by characters. there are plot points, perhaps beyond the characters' control, but they react as they would if they are real people.
not characters made to drive a plot point, who act as the plot demands.

Having reread the series, there's a great consistency from this manga where once again, Shinonome shows that she doesn't like half-assed efforts from herself, people around her and the man she loves.
If these chapters doesn't show that Shinonome and Saraki has been well-established as the end couple, I don't know what more to say. The way Shinonome flirts with Saraki is so fucking cute. And Saraki isn't falling in love with anyone else anytime soon.
This series continues being so charming, with every character being so damn dorky and goofy. From Kobachi to childhood friend Miaki lol. I love this manga. Did you see that kid Kobachi dance and Miaki miakiness lol
Kobachi as I thought, probably doesn't have romantic feelings for Saraki. I guess she feels like a friend has been taken from you and the loneliness that come when someone close to you has a girlfriend. Remember that she never really had a friend before until Saraki arrived. I thought that sadness was drawn really well.
This new Kobachi arc is going to be great. We're gonna learn more about her and I feel like there's a certain sadness about her that we haven't truly seen since the beginning of the manga.
Saraki also once again shows why he's genuinely my favourite romcom protagonist in years. He looks like he really cares and feels responsible for Kobachi, not really romantically but in a close friend/big brother kind of way.
