Yane no Shita no Artemis - Vol. 4 Ch. 33 - Losing It

[Rrrzl]

Senpai on the 100% offense!

[RollOmega]

[Drey]

We are we are flying too close to the sun

We all burn then

[jazz9]

The last couple of chapters made me completely forget that Kobachi is supposed to be the main potential romantic interest.
I legitimately thought only the senpai route existed.
Only by opening the comments was I reminded that senpai's the likely losing heroine....
...fuck...

[Graciliano_Thanos]

I'd fold.

[MadScientist666]

Looks like she's done with his bullshit excuses. At least for now...

[MadScientist666]

I’ve had teachers like that—those ‘artists’ are just narcissists high on their own farts who never worked in the industry or received any real recognition. Pathetic.

It's a bit difficult to work "in the industry" as an artist...
Unless you give up your dream of actually being an artist.

However, I agree that these guys often have, uh, difficult personalities and in at least one case I even wondered if I was talking to someone who escaped from a madhouse or not...

[zeroyuki92]

Please, let the best girl win! It's been too long since Ookami!

I was curious and going to ask "Which Ookami that you referred to here?", but I decided to look it myself instead. Initially I couldn't find it (most are josei 1v1 romance), until I find Ookami Shounen wa Kyou mo Uso o Kasaneru.

Spoiler: A little OOT about Ookami

Must be that one, right? Dang, that manga was more than 7 years ago. Thanks, I ended up re-reading it until 5AM lol. (And yeah, I forgot most things but once I see the crossdressing and saw Botan I was like "Ah yes, now I remember everything.")

Anyway, while Senpai here is indeed the best girl, I feel like she's kinda wasted on here (unless has a lot of development later) unlike on Ookami

Spoiler: Ookami spoiler

where while Botan is indeed the best girl, MC developed a lot and the dynamics of the three were great. The love development there makes perfect sense, thus making the ending really satisfying.

[MaCl0wSt]

GO SENPAI GO

Thanks for the chapter!

[ToiletGeist]

Convinced that science girl was just a means to an end so the author could write the real romance piece

Spoiler: Ookami appreciation corner

I will not tire myself from appreciating that work that gave such a good win
all my homies love Botan supremacy

almost forgot.... for sure we need more senpai development to make her not only best girl, but deserving of the W, MC noticing her as one from the opposite sex it's already a huuuuge big step there, but roomate + main cover is a strong contender, but still I can have faith that her main quest would be to learn to socialize better

Spoiler

kinda similar to Ookami "main" heroine, as her problem was even talking to men

[LudvigV]

Can’t lie senpai got crazy aura

[Umbrum]

Starting this 2 days ago has been an experience, GOD I REALLY HOPE THEY WILL START DATING.

yeah that chart is more accurate than you'd probably like it to be

[BakaPapa]

That was unexpected. I was fully prepared for a tsundere response to cover her embarrassment or her panicking and running away.

[NoAddedWater]

Main plot: insane progress with senpai
Subplot: bunny girl alcoholic artist yuri stuff

[colorlesseatstomboys]

Yooooo. I'm glad she ain't dumb dumb.
Pls let them progress nicely.

[reveluvza]

FLUSTER HIM MORE.

[Golliboy]

OH FUCK YOU!!
LET'S GO SENPAI COOK THAT DAMN LIER!

Childhood friend hit the head dead on

[dogmeister238]

Nah, at this point, I'm scared of the inevitable ending where senpai ultimately loses the game.

Well, there are instances where the titular character doesn’t end up as the heroine. Fuuka comes to mind. Although that requires a truck.
