It might be a reference to one certain manga.Imoko with glasses!![]()
Beastmen are supposed to be a stand in for Aniu, Ryukyu and indigenous people in general. Social Commentary.ur either horny for beastmen or racist in this world, no inbetween
no they're not. maybe really loosely. they're just there because.Beastmen are supposed to be a stand in for Aniu, Ryukyu and indigenous people in general. Social Commentary.
Writing is really smart.
Yani being crazy before smoking lmao.
Thanks for the TL!
That's a comment from someone who lived on the other side of town. it's funny, but if you know you know.no they're not. maybe really loosely. they're just there because.
also good work HameMTL you have upped your quality recently. keep it up.
I remember something aboutThat's a comment from someone who lived on the other side of town. it's funny, but if you know you know.
The big themes are addiction and poverty but stuff like that is tied with marginal groups like the Ainu, minorities or native groups in your country. Googling Ainu poverty racism and discrimination can bring up fun articles.
It's why yani's sister slice of life stuff is good. Her friends makes comments about her being the most normal beastkin stuff like that.
Technically beast folk are aliens from space but whatever.
Deep like the lore with Space or the social community? What's ironic? Ironic can considered be another word for dismissive.I remember something about, maybe in some chapters about the tribe but I'm not too sure if it is the established fact there, either it is a joke, rumor, or myth. If you can point some part of the story to inequality and social commentary thats good for you and I can definitely see that, but I'm afraid this title ain't necessarily that deep like.. It is just ironic.them from space
The social community. But tbf both the space and social thing have its uses for this one's world building.Deep like the lore with Space or the social community? What's ironic? Ironic can considered be another word for dismissive.
Its def not a lecture from a sociology professor but the themes are there, and if they dug deeper on those topics it would be way more depressing. The manga does have a psyche tag for a reason. If you want to sit through junkie and addict interviews, they are online and not fun.
Personally I think its surface level enough that its still entertaining, but at least it touches on the subjects enough that at least gets people thinking and having discussions about the social issues and themes. That's a pretty amazing balancing act to pull off.
If you check the English releases, check out volume 4. They do a great what if chapter. All I can say, is I'm looking forward to new material!Reply
thanks for introducing that manga, i just binged it
