I'm going to be honest, I'm not really sure what people expect Saotome to say for him to appear "grown up". This scene is set up in such a way that it can easily segue into a joke/misunderstanding and I'm pretty confident it might happen.

wether this is a serious question or not imma answer. the whole thing about the boys being so obnoxious, and hodaka letting it continue so easily. its probably only going to be a 1 chapter thing but its still stupid to leave it for the next chapter. it feels like one of those crappy reality shows where they go “oh no something big” and then leave it until after commercial
