Not exactly, Madoka doesn’t fall for the protagonist just because. They’re childhood friends, and she already had feelings for him (another overly used cliché, borderline nauseating). Even Hanako immediately grows close to him, but in the protagonist’s case, it’s somewhat acceptable because it’s the foundation of the plot (Which basically translates to: I go to school, they're all women, they're all thirsty, I run away, oh wait, one of them is nice, top!). The problem lies with the other girls! The further the story goes, the more girls fall (seriously in love, mind you!) for the protagonist just because the plot demands it—zero personality, zero romance, zero character development, zero suspense, zero interest, zero creativity! At this point, it would have been way more interesting if it had been an Hentai... considering that many scenes borderline the logic of To Love Ru.
