Then they will rush to end everything in a hurry in 5 chaps to make an open ended ending that resolves nothing.

Not really… I mean, it feels like a while because the beach arc was a bit more split. But I don’t really view this story as a harem. I think the author has done well in writing a school life comedy, with Hanako as the obvious love interest, but regularly developing and allowing the readers to learn about the other characters. I generally dislike harems myself, but this story is so fun to read because it really doesn’t feel like a retard thinking with his dick. It’s a slightly suggestive, at times, school comedy with funny interactions. The characters are all funny and make an impression in some way, the first year girls, Nekomiya and best side-girl Itachi.
