Well I would beg to differ. The childhood friend and ex-track girl certainly have a chance. Half the regular readers here seem to want some action for Itachi. But I certainly would have problems with Takae, and as for Ushigome, she was a selfish girl dumping work on Saotome and doing paid dating. Sure, I’d be happy to save a classmate from being raped (even if they brought it upon themselves), but I probably wouldn’t be too ready to have a serious romantic relationship with that classmate who was doing paid dating.

Yeah I see how takae screwed up and even ushigome despite her apologising for her future actions when she does wrong but

Kamogawa never bullied him
Aoi didn't bully him and even disagreed with her friend for doing it
Even the new first years who are in the harem, inukai and ayano, did not bully him

Honestly really liked this chapter. Kuzuhana has had her own weaknesses and it really shows in this chapter that she is now having that character growth start. While there is not exactly progress in this chapter, I do not mind it, and i do not think we are getting back to status with this chapter.

Maybe his mind finally clicked and actually took the hint behind Kuzuhana's words, ackowledging that he's been too oblivious. Maybe next chapter we'll have Saotome doing some deep thinking and recollections about their interactions so far, and finally see the truth.
Or maybe I'm just having a weird ultra positive day and I'm giving this manga too much credit...

I put this on reading hiatus since the training with Hanako and mom arc. Should've paused after that Christmas shit itself. Then later when the author kept pushing that bitch Takae as a main love interest, i got really pissed. Like how in the world would anyone accept her being an endgame with this dense ass mc?

That is not true, we regularly have internal monologues from Takae regretting the way she set up the protagonist, lamenting how that affected her prospects with the protagonist.

Oh yea, she realized she was weak in less than 200 chapters, with a bit of luck, it takes her only 100 more to muster the courage to tell him how she feels and another 100 for him to listen to it and understand what she says. Where my girl Itachi at, though? As long as she's in it, I won't mind.
