Just came back cuz I was surprised this was getting regular translations to find out it's basically done. Honestly I think it's just pretty boring once you hit the point of 'the mc fucked up by cheating and the author isn't getting them back together'. Starting off the mid-point with that basically takes all the air out of the balloon. The one big subversion has already happened and all that's left is jerking the audience around for like 40 chapters.

Just re-read it (chap 36), wow it was worse than I remembered, I have no idea what was the author thinking, basically including the Homake to that in the previous chapter.

Imagine if near the end of one of Amagami's routes you had the story basically go "but imagine if he went with her instead". Awful.
