Oh, interesting. I like the fact that the dad's problem isn't Kurokawa itself but the way society will judge you no matter what, so he want his daughter to take the "easy way" and not associate herself with people who could make her get judged more.
I don't agree with him , and he is a bit of a dick for not giving an once of a chance to Kurokawa (I mean... FFS it's just a freaking scar bro...), but he's right about the idea.
There are a lot of people who have caracteristic that others will judge them for, like sexuality, or just being a fan of something, that can result to harassment, bullying, or worst, and sometimes, those people prefer hide what they are, what they like.
That's a sad but real part of society.
Dad's here is scared for his daughter future, and I can understand that...
But in this case, ffs mister Dad, at least try to know and understand a bit your daughter's boyfriend (and your freaking daughter) before going all fatalistic and stuff...
(I mean... do you actually think of what poor Kurokawa's feels right now? Imagine you meet your girlfriend's dad, you're trying to talk with him, and he litteraly RUN THE FUCK AWAY FROM YOU!
Good thing Kurokawa is a softie and not one to hold a grudge...)
