@CC_Calamity Yaoi isn't marked as hentai unless the sex is uncensored. If it's uncensored and not marked as hentai, please report it so that it can be changed. I guess I can spend some time and go through the yaoi. We need to add additional contributors to go through it though. The amount of uncensored yaoi is a bit unreasonable...

@josephgomes619 personally, I think it's hentai when the characters in that series just shag most of the time, if it's too bizarre and of course if there's genitals being shown.

If those 2/3 conditions didn't met, I think it's mostly smut.
And that's my opinion.

Also, I think I read what OP was talking about.
It involve drugs (bizarre part), the characters mostly shag, and there's genitals to be seen.
That title now have been classified as hentai.

@josephgomes619 @ABCsOfLife let's use Yuri and Shoujo Ai as an example then. shoujo ai is soft girl x girl action (on the Ecchi level), and yuri is straight up lesbianing, but at most on a Smut level. it only gets hentai when it becomes EXPLICITLY porn (eg: you can see the cunt). if it's off-screened or something like heavy censorship, that's basically Smut.

so in short OP's suggestion wouldn't make sense since Yaoi is just a genre-ish. what defines what's hentai or not is, in this case, how yaoi it is. if it's just 2 guys gay-cuddlin, that's not hentai (especially when you think about it in yuri terms). if you see that dick up his ass, yep that's hentai, no questions. maybe someone should go help Ply to sift thru the yaoi. preferably a fujoshi. i don't think i can stand going thru even one gay stuff.

@CC_Calamity The Yaoi tag specifically means that there are sex scenes in the story. If there aren't any, then it's Shounen Ai. It's your responsibility to check the tags before reading the story. Unless the manga entry isn't tagged properly, it's entirely on you.

When there are uncensored genitals, it gets flagged as Hentai.

You can exclude the Yaoi tag in your options pane, so this is really a non-issue.

@Wolvenworks Most yaoi are far, far more hardcore than the average yuri manga. I would say 50% of yaoi are on the same level as yuri hentai.
