These stories are based off of web novels and are picked for a manga app and are meant to just fill up the App so they can say they have a lot of stories...
Those services choose quantity over quality....
So I'm not expecting anything good from them.....
Oh that's why we keep getting so many dogshit stories with manga? Because they're so bad that the WN author is willing to give permission for cheaper. Actually they might be PAYING to get onto the app with how bad some of these are

No, they're being paid.
And the sad thing is, a lot of these stories could actually be decent if there were proper editors and stuff... but the app owners don't care....
Before, around 10-15 years ago, even if a web novel was adapted, they'd make sure there was a minimum of quality and they'd have editors...
Now, a lot of anime and manga are basically purchased and produced for cheap....

Coincidentally, I got curious about the stretching exercises while reading the chapter, and ended up looking it up. There seems to be no reference to knights stretching before their exercises.
As for skin care, it seems to vary with both time period and culture. But most cultures used herbs, oils, and other household remedies to take care of their skin. Also, while creams and lotions were sold, most were imported, and those which weren't were usually for the scent.
For me the logic ain't logicing, how can the mana pool be expended if you have to use your life pool which shouldn't be able to expend, or does they mean that the mana pool is the life pool, because if that is the case it's even stupider as like I previously said the life pool shouldn't be able to expend to be logical, and shouldn't be at the same time the mana pool.
And how can you recover your life essence after you use it, it should be like with other manga where the use of life essence is only by cultists/dark mages as in they sacrifice their life essence and they should find way to absorb the life essence of other life form around them to recover.
And finally how is that horrible swing showing that he has talent?
