@salanates bi monthly magazines are pretty common (although monthly ones are more so). Because they cost less to produce and have more time to rack up sales, newer or more niche manga-ka are able to be showcased and published.

While that sucks for readers, we also likely wouldn't have gotten to read a lot of great stories without that publication style.
