yep. based on the boy's perspective, Lufasu was his character but an entity called the Goddess offered him the chance to live his wildest dream but that end up serve as a seal to the real Lufasu, thus sealing her real power/potential to rival the goddess. but Lufasu psyche is resurfacing fighting against her Zodiac beasts + demon lord which may end up overtake the boy's unless he could return back to his original body or transferred to another.

yeah, looks about right for "nobles". Torture is just fine to them, as commoners are not "humans" to them. Nobles are a superior specie... Even though the only difference is who they were born to.

You should stop thinking that manga are history book... In most European country noble where living among the commoner. In France for exemple during all celebration in village and cities the noble where mingling with commoner, talking and drinking with them.
The only time where noble where realy separated from commoner was during some party made to celebrate some event only concerning noble and their family.

Even the king of these country where treating commoner normaly.

The only reason these things are common in manga is because some of the most know "nobility" of Japan, Korea and China threated commoner like trash.

Yet in certain old tale (true stories, legends and fictions) from medieval europe, you can still see mentions of immoral acts perpetrated by nobles (Prince Jean from Robin Hood). Which means it did happened. But I'm no expert, so I can't really tell where is the line between fiction and reality.

Ya, it is amazing to me how much Asian history influences how western nobles treated commoners and such lol. Not that it was perfect or fair either, but it wasn't quite as depicted in manga and manhwa and manhua. Especially punishments for people, entire familial executions were not a western thing but eastern. Such a mindset is seen as truly barbaric in the west (even if, yes, it did happen at times, I mean, the red wedding in game of thrones was based on a real historical event in, iirc, War of the Roses ya?)
