she is an avatar-ish, I think, it's been ages since I read the book, but she's not on the goddess's side, but the demons are avatars for certain, I think venus is different from dina, or may be dina possessed by the goddess? I don't remember
what I do remember is that she's acting as a triple agent- IE pretending to work for lufasu, but pretending to work for the goddess, and actually following lufasu's plan
