... I really wish the author actually starts considering him as an actual character, mainly MC, to develop him and at least do something rewarding his insecurities. An average isekai harem MC has more value than this guy (coming from someone who avoids isekai harem anime/mangas), I also hope the author develops the female lead more, I mean seriously, we know and are connected to side characters more than to those two (I'm not speaking for anyone, but in general how I feel how they are portrayed).
