Here's the character sheet, give me a name! I need a name!
If you're confused, inspired lightly by TES (The Elder Scrolls) lore, Orc Society functions with the males usually being dominant, amassing sometimes ten to twenty wives, these considered a Pride (Akin to Lions). The Females though are not always so inclined to bow to this lifestyle and will stride out on their own, being known as a Pride-Tribe to the Males who seek them to claim them, if they survive. For this Young Man, he was raised by the tribe to stand in the way of any claimants. It worked, yet later on, Renda, his eldest sister would fall in love with Prince Keen Umbra... Though he isn't much of a Prince when she finds him (Tends to happen when a Death-God reanimates in your home and claims the Kingdom in entirety.)
And Retrinac Vas-carec is a Daemon Possessing a Sword, lightly inspired by the Black Blade of Turin Turambar from the Silmarillion. Retrinac actually is a humanized demon, who grows to actually care for the boy.
The Young Man's Family are quite distant, thinking he had been devoured by one of the creatures of the Daemon Chasm. The people of the Kingdom of the Sands would eventually hunt them down, and Faerun would escape into Far Northern Norsan and in the Counties of the Guon he would grow up. He's got quite the strange story himself.

| BACKGROUND: Son of Nayrun, the last of the Sand-Wolves, He was kidnapped at young age and was discovered upon the Shores of Northern Norsan by the Saga Pride-Tribe in their prime. Seeing the advantage of a Male to stand as “Pride-Lord”, Mora would take on the Boy of Eight Years of Age as her own son, raising him amongst her daughters. He would grow into a powerful warrior, trained by her sisters, and taught the tongues of the Orcs, and broken common speech by his mother. Upon his 13th year though, disaster would strike when County Hongor of the Norsanian Empire would seek to drive the Saga Pride-Tribe from their lands. A Massacre would be had, as he and his sisters were away, and when they returned they would find the rest of the tribe slaughtered by an army of Hongor. Keeping him safe, Sister Renda would go berserk, and manage to destroy the army herself, leaving only one to survive. With the Tribe but a handful left, they would wander for a time, and find other sisters in the remnants of other Pride-Tribes shambled by Hongor’s bid to rid the County of them. The remnants, alongside their brother would grow stronger for a decade. And in that time, the Boy would grow into a powerful, barbaric yet kind man who protected his sisters with his life. From Knights, or Orcish Men seeking to claim them, he would be deemed Pride-Lord by his Eldest sister Renda before she departed of them for Umbra Kingdom. But, also in that time, amidst his wanderings, he would happen upon a cave where lay a powerful weapon his sisters feared, he would take up the Blackened and Red Blade, which would possess him for a moment, a blade possessed by the Red Daemon Retrinac Vas-carec who would take an odd fascination in the Young Warrior and claim to be a guide for him through troubles, as well as a weapon, as long as the blood never stopped flowing from his foes. It would be upon his Twenty-Third Year that Milena Vladimira and her Husband would show up and ask for his service in Guarding the Heiress Laurentina Dowen. He knew not what it all meant, but he found it interesting. |
