I said to myself "the sh*t is about to go down in Kyoto".

I dunno why mangaka is using Raira to make some uncertainty and suspense. What is going to happen if Katou sees Raira is the suspense line.

I think MC should stop and mangaka should stop as well with mixing old love with new one. This should be considered as continuation and growth for MC not always coming back to the same woman. It is a shame. Other characters are kinda noisy imho at the present time.
Katou wish was to meet mother and now all others will make a misunderstanding situations.

I bailed on this series a long time ago (a few chapters before the original ending. I read the ending when it happened just to see how bad it got, then tried 1 chapter of this new reboot/continuation/what-if and said "nope")

Seeing it still going and the rating tumble makes me wish that MD kept timestamped rating analytics. I want a line graph that shows the point the bottom fell out of the ratings and it tumbled down to where it is right now (mid 5s). Because It's really impressive that it went from "not great, but fine" to the absolute tire fire it's become and that act of self-immolation should've been preserved for posterity.
