I just rewatched the episode when Kou said murder is okay in certain circumstances. Kind of funny that it reappears now. Definitely doubting that Mahiru will kill Kiku after mentioning Kou's old thought. If it is him "killing her" I am guessing it would be like her turning him into a vampire at the last second. BUT There are two possibilities. One is that Kiku doesn't turn Mahiru into a vampire and that changes the plot of the anime away from everyone going vampire. The second is that Mahiru does become a vampire. I am predicting that once Mahiru becomes a vampire that he will somehow become an antagonist for real. If he loses his memories after throwing away all of his past who knows how he will change. In that case Kou really will have to come to terms with the validity of murder if Mahiru hurts someone. After that they may even have to force Mahiru to turn back into a human or kill him. Really exciting. Also Mahiru's comment on Nanakusa is really making me wonder. The past few chapters have been making me think that she is starting to develop real feelings for Kou. But what happens when Nanakusa falls in love with Kou and turns into a human... If Mahiru is the only vampire that would be very interesting.

This is the only manga where there is truly no conflict works. Like shit gets resolved so quickly, but it works somehow. Stuff also gets resolved with no action either, like no one will do anything and the problem just goes away

Cmon, I fucking hate this trope so much. If the genders were reversed, would we see a boy hitting two girls because he's tired of their drama? Of course not, unless the boy was some scumbag like dio Brando. Seeing someone get hit isn't funny or quirky because it's a girl hitting boys. I wish this trope would die already. And now I hate Akira.
