This actually has me on the edge of my seat. Writers end on chapters on cliffhangers like this to keep the tension high and the audience hooked, to make sure they come back next week. When they write compelling characters worth caring about? It fucking works.

I just know they're going to cut to the conversation about love, though.

took a look at the raws and it's 先日, which, while can also be "few days ago", is also just more arbitrarily a day in the somewhat recent past, kind of like "the other day"

so, I guess this one is on the translators
