I like Hyakkei, he knows what he wants and he rocognizes his flaws and he's proactive in his persuit of Shinra. Rai on the otherhand is so wishy washy with his feelings that I don't think he's the support that Shinra would need right now. Also, the banter between Hyakkei and Shinra is just so funny and natural that I find them so good for eachother.
