This chapter and the last one with Makki makes me wonder whether basing robots on "experiences humans savor" was a blessing or a curse. It's almost cruel to build robots that are crystallizations of simple human lives, yet separate them so helplessly from the flow of time. It's almost like they're meant to be a tombstone for humanity. Here's hoping the story find a way around that downer of an ending, for Alpha's sake.

Yeah, a few chapters back it is said that the robots are the child of humanity. They're meant to be humanity's successor, they one who stay after the human perished. It's kinda sad tbh.
