Seriously one of the best manga ever made. Just an immensely powerful representation of the final days of humanity.

I've never read something as emotionally resonant as this series. Ashinano's art is something so pure and beautiful, it can't be put into words. Every time I read a chapter, it felt like every problem in my life was swept away and "healed," me. This is the first true iyashikei I've read, but I don't think anything will ever hit as hard as this did. As I sit here trying to type my thoughts out, I can't really get this feeling out. It's just that good.

Such a great setting. Apocolyptic, without being all "Mad Max" about it. And, while I know it's not the point of the story, it leaves you with so many questions that never get answered, so it stays in your mind.

While there was nothing wrong with the old translation by Isonokami, I'm glad this was picked up again and cleaned up a bit!

This is one of a very very few things that actually made me cry
But not with the cheap tear-squeezing tricks, oh no
with the calmness and the beauty

how ironic is it that one of the calmest and most beautiful manga ive read takes place in a post apocalyptic setting
beautiful story
the slowly changing scenery and even the look and demeanor of the characters really got to me in the end
How much time has passed? 10 years? 20 years? who knows? who CARES? this anime beautifully conveys (to me at least) enjoy what you have in the moment and it will last an eternity in your mind

How is this the most slice of life tragic story ever made. Honestly a masterpiece. I would love a lil more closure for the characters but that’s how the story makes it out to be. Has to be one of the most or even the best written manga. The only manga to ever tell this type of emotion and story this hood. So much to say, such a lovely read now Im left in sorrow

This one's heavy. It's not even sad as in actual dramatic or cathartic moments, but the passage of time throughout the series is like a weight on your chest, and a really heavy one; I couldn't help but shed tears on the realization that time exists and it passes by really, really fast. Guess I'll appreciate my daily life a little more from now on <3

An absolute masterpiece. The relaxing yet lonely feelings really blend well. It's beautiful and calming, I give it 11/10.

A) i have to say ive never seen alternate future-style worldbuilding so well done before. it complements the story really well.
B) this is absolutely worth the read, unless you're looking for action. in that case, i highly recommend reading a different manga

This is the best fucking manga of all time.
If Jesus Christ was a manga, he would be this one. It's just as flawless as it gets.
