Given that it wasn't in the same spot as in the WN I was really hoping they took this dumbass chapter out. So much ass pulling to have literally THE perfect assassination/war poison ever conceived. Seriously, if the author wants us to take this bullshit seriously we need an explanation for why every war in this world hasn't become "step 1: scatter OP poison, step 2: win the fight". Also she wasn't even going to a specific place, how does it make any sense these guys got in front of her with their special poison when they couldn't possibly have known she was even leaving that day or what direction she would head in? Unless they've just been camping outside the capital all this time on the off-chance this one specific girl leaves. Fucking stupid and this manga is permanently worse for including this.

"You're wondering why your detection didn't work? It's because there are ways around that. Like, lots of ways that haven't been explained. So many ways. I could tell you how, but I don't feel like it."

Also... airborne poison in enough concentration in a huge area to have a near immediate and powerful effect to immediately paralyze, another to disable magic, and another to disable a wolf's keen sense of smell, yet not target the user.

What?

At least we got the two lost lovers back....

Hey, those two weren't forgotten after all.

Yeah, this is all too BS. Pure Diabolus ex Machina. And the existence of that kind of poison would have a huge effect on the world, since there are tons of ways to use it. Even if it's illegal, people would still use it, especially in war.

Yeah this is absolutely a case of writing yourself into a corner. Kinda like the Killing Curse in Harry Potter only unlike in that case it's way late in the story and wasn't just an early story writing mistake. Like if this existed why hasn't any part of this been used before. That wolf nose poison would be mandatory equipment for big Guild hunts like the Orc one she helped with or the Winter Lord one

ah yes.. this chapter (of the WN). I remember being really shocked at this. The "ogle the hottie" bits happen so much that it felt like a recurring joke. This scene/event, and the fallout that happens after, felt incredibly jarring.
I was also wondering how the artist was going to show that scene here but as you said, It was mellowed here. In the novel its was more crude and kinda justified of her to be scared of men. I kinda skip that chapter now wherever I come back to check if the novel is still on hiatus or not.

I get that the author wants to establish that she not perfect but really a poison in the wind and three of them that are perfect like that? Those guys aren't even wearing face coverings. The friends showing up makes sense but the prince already being there? Ha what a joke

Hopefully the author doesn't overuse these ridiculous poisons.

That's a lot of airborne chemicals that don't affect the illiterate weakling mobs using them

So they did wanted to gobble her up. (About the comment, from the last chapter, l that they wanted to eat her)

What happened to her mental resistant skill? Shouldn't it help in this situation. It was made clear that mental resistance was for mental upsetting situations, not against mind manipulation.
