Dunno, if someone said it, but on page 40. I'm fairly certain "二度寝" is translated as "going back to sleep" for example after an awakening.
Like someone would go "二度寝しないよ！" to tell someone not to go back to sleep.

It hardly changes the meaning of the panel. Nice work and thanks for the translation.

I still find it a fairly bizarre choice to have the life she was living in that world be completely subsumed by this personality she had of a Japanese man. It's practically like the girl hadn't even existed before she got those memories.

So no, her memories of this life are not gone and not for nothing. But they aren't the most relevent at this point compared to the previous life's. This life and the previous life are both her. One did not replace the other.

That said... you're fundamentally wrong in how you think about gender. Ren is a woman. In her previous life, she was a man. She merely has the memories of the previous life and the current life. The idea of <insert gender> on the inside is garbage. The modern western idea of gender is garbage and ironically quite regressive. People may think it is "progressive" but that's really just codifying Gender Roles and erasing individuality in the process. Going totally backwards with the best of intentions...

What you are =/= who you are. The external factors (things you never choose) are WHAT you are - ethnicity/nationality/gender/disability/etc. In this series you'd have to add species to that list too. The circumstances of your birth in other words... are not WHO you are and it is entirely irrational to judge others on things they did not choose. All the stuff "on the inside" (aka your mind) is WHO you are. Your memories, feelings, things you love, things you hate, the choices you have made, every other aspect of your INDIVIDUALITY - that's WHO you are. Your gender is not one of those things. Even preferring so called "feminine" or "masculine" things (or a combination thereof) isn't a matter of gender and no one should feel limited by their gender on what they're "allowed" to like/hate. In the modern sense, gender is used as a cookie cutter defining who you are. Someone realized that not everyone fits into 1 of 2 cookie cutters, so they decided there are 52 cookie cutters... wrong answer! We don't need more cookie cutters. That's still just erasing individuality. WHO you are is a totally separate matter from WHAT you are. Gender can have a large role in how others perceive you (but it shouldn't), an shaping effect on your physical appearance (thus also affecting other people being attracted to you or not), obvious procreation implications (with some exceptions), and clear medical implications (such as proper dosing of drugs, chances to get <x> disease, etc), but NOT who you are.

Reject the cookie cutters. Reject external-factor based "identity". Be who you want to be and apologize to noone for it.
Back to Ren - she is a woman. Yet she certainly does not fit the "gender role" definition of a woman, and there is no reason she should need to. She is Ren and who she wants to be is her choice, not something decided for her at birth.

See you missed the point entirely. "Man" is WHAT he was, not WHO. She isn't even a man anymore. Gender has nothing to do with what's inside. No direct relationship. Zero. None. Zilch. Gender is not who you are. There is no "man on the inside". That maybe how people commonly think about it, but that doesn't exist in reality. It is a twisted, regressive view that needs to die.
Ren isn't "a man" nor "a woman" on the inside. On the inside, Ren is... Ren the individual. In this lifetime, Ren is a female. I can't speak to the next life. I suppose if you took the idea of reincarnation seriously, you yourself would have been both a man and a woman countless times - though you wouldn't remember it. Well first off, by far not all gender benders go there. Of those I've read, most former males (now females) are not interested in males. The only one that comes to mind (from what I've read) is Hakai Me no Yuuri. I'm sure there are more like that if I actually was looking for them, which I'm not. Either way, they sure don't all go like that.

I'm very well aware this is just my own personal opinion.
For me is a deal breaker. I don't need to get philosophical. A dude inside a girl body, i can't see her as a "woman". Is a man with a couple of tits. And if she like the dick then it goes into the yaoi genre for me. I cannot empathize an etherosexual mind getting turned inside out just cause the different chemistry of the body. And i cannot see the appeal of the whole "i was a man and now i'm a girl" trope. It doesn't make the character any more likeable or interesting. Just kind of repellant from an hetero point of view. Even if i must say that this manga did it right until now. The GB stories that are about actually enjoying your new situation and body are very few.
