Those that walk an extra mile are often pushed to walk with the group... Happened to me too, when I tried to improve some procedures in my first workplace, automating them by coding with Excel. Some work mates liked the idea in casual talks, but dismissed it all in group meeting. Later in the same week, higher ups felt it would break workflow so I was ordered to stop trying new things.

100% accurate. I’ve had countless recommendations to improve efficiency at places I’ve worked, and event some of my superiors agreed with the suggestions. However, it ultimately came down to upper management’s decisions and they deemed it would be pointless to implement changes since it would require altering routines that have been done for decades. Pretty much told to sit down, shut up, and only do the work in front of me.

Now management wonders why we’ve missed sales 3 years in a row.

The book the MC is leaning magic from was sent by the goddess as a way of 'shit our bad what happened' since most of that magic he's learning is not from that world.

They do meet up when the girl goes to prove her innocence when a group of religious zealots comes to the mountain. Another summoner got a power to tell truth from lies.

During that fiasco the MC and scumbag sword stealer meet in secret and one his companions try to kill the MC. MC defends himself and comes out on top. Was going to kill the scumbag sword stealer but another companion pleads him to stop. They fight again later with just fists and the MC wins even though one of sword guy's companions shot MC with a magic gun from outside the fight. MC still wins and leaves.

Then he goes on a boat ends up overboard lands on an island. Is rescued and then buys a slave woman that's a bat beast folk. The end.

Nowadays I only automate my stuff in secret, pass the time reading mangas, and deliver what I'm supposed to deliver close to the middle or the end of my shift, depending on the workload. (lol)

thank you , exactly what i needed, its not what I like to happen in manga, at least i know i wont waste too much time and investment on this manga, i wont drop it, ill prob read it after it catches up with raws
