I hate him, but I'm also glad he has turned his life around. He went from endangering a mother and child needlessly to outright covering for races that are normally considered "unfit" to be around humans by putting them in his party. If there were more people like him, eventually situations like the one Van was in would never happen anymore. That's a good thing, but that's not justice.
