This chapter is such a mess. Mostly just an exposition dump

This chapter is a side chapter in the wn (and ln I guess?) and yeah it does kinda just dump you in media res. Don't worry it kinda relevant later...like much much much later...... It just show that it's not just Van whose on Vida's side.

The comic has cut out so many side stories setting up characters across worlds, that I'm pleasantly surprised they gave the Storm of Tyranny a quick and dirty rundown.

Also, I always imagined Zorcodrio to be large all the time, but when he goes full swoll it's not that wide. Like the body type of the muscle titan (to scale obviously).

This chapter leaves a lot of details out about who Storm of Tyranny are. I guess they could have just said they're an S rank party that are secret Vida supporters/oppose Alda.

I mean...unless they mistranslated it in this chapter, wasn't it more that he made so many mothers BEFORE receiving the oracle, he was occupied protecting all of them and was too dumb to properly get the meaning in time?

Also also, I guess it is kinda nice to see such an impactful introduction to the lizardmen. The intent is to exploit their lands...

But when their leader, a gigantic crocodile, devours one of them the moment they come to it for help - and then we see a bunch of other lizardmen behind Vandalieu's group apparently being rallied by his troops...I guess they weren't really all that well off to begin with. And hopefully they won't be exploited too badly by Van now.

Being fair? He eventually figured out that it wasn't taking about mothers and children HE made.
And really, the message from the oracle that could be understood? There would be too many interpretations for it that it's understandable he wouldn't be able to figure it out until it was too late. Hell, he got it BEFORE Van was even born or even developing in the womb.

My understanding is that the oracle was blasted directly to her, and that any god can send oracles to another god rather than being an actual interception but the energy expenditure is great. Others have to be believers in order to receive oracles from gods.
