hmm, I thought for sure the gorilla would have a big club :(. I hope they show the fight next chapter, instead of kinda passing over it.

Something about that skeleton bashing the other one over the head with that bow made me extremely happy.

I've read all of the chapters too. (even the untranslated ones) The novel has a lot of comedic elements and I'm satisfied with how the manga presents them so far but I do agree, it feels like it won't do justice to all the brutality, just like the Release that Witch manhua.

Still, I'm enjoying myself immensely and it seems like the pacing will be better because boy the first 30 chapters are slow. I almost dropped it. Also hoping I'll like the dungeons more because I thought they're the worst part of the novel. (aside from that one giant dungeon)

Yes, some get destroyed either physically or verbally and some even join Van's group. The first encounter will be about 80 chapters in the WN

I've read all the chapters and Naruse Narumi doesn't do much but it's pretty clear things are starting to escalate even more in the 2nd world/Origin. (3rd world/Lambda is where Vanderlieu is)

at the currently translated wn chapter she is still well and kicking in origin but you should remember her words when they killed him ;-)

Also,
praise to our great
holy daughter son and god emperor
Van-Sama!

@sircusa I completely agree with you. I actually dropped it once and came a year later back out of boredom and, boy am I glad. I mean, it has its ups and downs even after he meets best
magical
girl(?) like the dungeons but the ups are way more dominant than the downs and it is a blast.

The art style is still too cartoon-y. The manga seems a lot more light-hearted and comedic compared to the LN.

@Disappointed true, but maybe there is a hidden charm in it. Like in youjo senki where each media form has kind of their own take on Tanya.
Novel: the mind gamer(so much infooooo)
Manga: The warOtaku who can't understand peoples intentions(basically a comedy)
Anime: Fucking mad killing machine(perfect op destroying action)

Well, it stands to see if the take the mangaka has is justified in it being good, but I personally think it fits for right now.;-)

I know he didn't steal anyone but the only reason she talked to him is because she mistook him for the MC. If the MC was properly sent with them then the chances of the MC is slightly bigger by a percent or so since there was a foundation for the relationship. Granted that we as readers can only speculate, and that guy didn't do anything wrong, we can't help but feel bad about it since the story is shown from the MC's perspective. (ie. we saw how harsh his life is and wanted if at least that win he did at the start could develop into something).

I read the LN so of course I knew what happened behind the scenes. The girl didn't do anything wrong too so I don't blame any of them I am just saying its hard to like them even if they did nothing wrong since I feel bad for the MC.
That lazy god who outsources his job by killing random groups of people and manipulating things to give him more power, him I hate.

For an over the top story like this I think the comical artstyle is a good juxtaposition.
