I wish he said at least a few harsh words towards the priestess - yeah she apologised after, but she still had those thoughts and said those things; you can't just say or do whatever and expect an apology afterwards to make up for it, or to quell someone's anger.

To be honest, the gift she bestowed upon him afterwards more then well makes up for it. A gift worth about 100 gold coins, and he stated earlier, that he only had a fraction of that, of which, he said he could live off of for several months. That, is a hella generous gift, ie free healing for every visit.

Sure, but that was after he had accepted her rather weak apology, and the feeling of it being inadequate had been planted and settled.
Like if he said something back to her, then she felt bad, and then she gave it to him as an apology, it would have been a better resolution - her gift currently feels like it was for her sake, rather than as an apology.

At least that's my feeling from it.
