I seriously don't understand how people reading can STILL talk about how they don't like the inevitable romance aspect of the story between Harris and Tiana. I mean, Harris made his intentions clear from the very beginning, and Tiana is obviously developing or has developed feelings for him beyond master/slave, and parental feelings were NEVER part of the equation. Sheesh.

Also, can I just say that LN art Harris is a very attractive man?

Yeah, it has been Tiana grooming Harris from the moment he brought her home and she made that first meal. Don't know why people are so surprised. Not to mention people seem to think her being malnourished = being a child lol.

Heh, the Latina thing was funny. And so was people's reaction. I read the Novel and I remember it barely was a secret and everything afterwards was initiated by Latina too. And he needed a LOT of convincing so he didn't just jump into his "Former Daughter's" Bed.

Ye whenever I see people get in a huffy about that series I remember Latina was the one pushing and pushing till Dale gave in. Hell everyone around them were mad at him for taking so long. But people reacting were so invested in one way of looking at the story completely ignoring what was actually happening. And then have the gall to complain when it was blatantly obvious.

Usagi Drop is just that powerful. It broke people so completely that it lives rent-free in their minds and the mere suggestion that a similar developent is going on it makes them recoil is horror.

That reminds me a few years ago when "Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable!" released their first segmented chapter, r/manga was feeling some heavy PTSD because of Gal Cleaning.

For me it's less about a similar development and more that post time skip Usagi Drop completely changed genres without any foreshadowing whatsoever. It was just really disappointing considering how well the characters were developed prior to that.

didn't notice till you pointed out, can forgive the missing in shots where she is far away but chapter starts without any, they pop for a pannel couple of pages later, disappear again, show up for couple more pages till they go missing last page again
