Thanks for the translation!

The dialogue got kind of hard to follow during Miya and Itone's conversation. But the upshot I got from it is, Itone was slipping into yandere-dom not just because Harutaka broke up with her, but because she was slowly getting isolated from everyone. We'd already seen how her other friends were distancing themselves from her after her "deliberately not invite Miya to the study group" stunt, and she was never more than allies of convenience with Yura. Her obsession with Harutaka may have been the result of her feeling like nobody else would ever care about her. That's why Miya making a sincere effort to repair their friendship moved her enough to bring her back from the brink.

What's ironic is that as Miya, Yura, and even Itone are slowly becoming better people, Harutaka is just getting worse; in this chapter he is openly hitting on his "best friend's" girlfriend, which frankly is worse than anything any other character has done in this manga. It legit baffles me that nobody called him out on it. This kid needs a serious intervention.

I think Yura was so confused by Harutaka's behaviour that he didn't even get angry or totally get what he was trying to do. I agree with you that Harutaka is getting worse and he just might do something drastic as things go on. What's worrying is that the only one who can prolly reach him at this point is Miya and that's... Well, that's a potentially loaded situation.

I'm so glad Miya reached out to Itone. Seeing them starting to patch things up was satisfying. 🥲

I think it's partly Yura not fully understanding what was going on, and partly that his relationship with Miya is still kind of fake; even if he is getting real feelings for her, and he probably is, he likely feels guilty that he only approached her in the first place to exact revenge on Harutaka. I guess for that reason he might also feel like Harutaka hitting on her now is a case of "turnabout is fair play."

On that note, though, I actually disagree with you that Miya is the only one who can reach Harutaka; I think Yura is the only one who can reach him. He's the one who knows Harutaka best, and he's the one who betrayed Harutaka first. Now that Miya's proven to him that it is possible to heal a rift in a friendship if you apply sincere effort, he might be motivated to try to bury the hatchet in his own up to now fake friendship himself. Or at least I hope that's what happens, since a shoujo manga focusing on friendship over romance would be pretty unique.

Oh yeah, that's actually pretty good. It honestly didn't occur to me because I still have a lingering distaste for the guy, but (thematically, at the very least) it would actually make sense for him to be the one to help Harutaka. He'll have to process his feelings for Miya along the way and prolly end up deciding to make up for what he did.
