One thing that is consistent about Hakuri is that he understands the mindset of abusers. Of course that "senior" "confessed" to her after her family died, and then tried to extort her while blaming her for it. They "love" people that have nobody to turn to

Anyways, this was great. I loved the theme of circle of violence and forgiveness.

What is it with Japanese mangakas and never letting the villain be properly punished the way the readers want to see? They fucking suck donkey shit on making the villain get the proper punishment to make it cathartic for the readers when we finally see the shit stain get their comeuppance. And to top it off, they always make the MC's passive as fuck. Jap mangakas love blue balling and being little bitches when it comes to that, but they LOVE pedo and hebephilia , rape, NTR, etc.

The guy got punish. He move to another town after got arrest. Losing your face and status in society even worse than jail time, especially in Japan where simplest crime can make you having hard time getting job.
