That's Light Novel adaptation, so I don't think it counts, even if it adapts manga adaptation rather than LN itself. The original source wasn't cancelled.

This is the power of Reiwa era on manga: hit fast and hard, take no survivors and no need for 50 volumes. The author ends the story when they feel it did enough and no overstaying

Aw man, it's over? Shame, really, but if the author felt like he wanted to wrap it up it's a lot better this way than having hundreds of chapters of the usual slice of life bloat. I would have liked to see where Taira and Azuma end up, honestly (holding out hope they do that in the anime), but I guess life just is like that sometimes. It was fun while it lasted guys!
