the mental gymnastics the father plays while being completely serious AND thinking he's doing the right thing is some next-level writing. Even I can't believe how quickly everything just crumbled apart. I do wonder what Yotsuha's plan is; is it that she ISN'T rewinding, or CAN'T rewind? When she was sitting on the bed, and Uichi ask her to live together in college, it definitely felt like she was at the end of her time or something. I have a bad feeling about all of this....

And all the retards still say that the father is somehow the worst of them. No logic, no understanding of cause and effect whatsoever. And we wonder why the world goes to shit.
I would put the sister and the father in the same rank. The father is the impetus and the sister is the one literally instigating everything. Manipulation from the mastermind aside she is dumb as fuck oh my lord I wanted to smash my phone against my wall as soon as the catfisher said he needed debt money and I fucking knew her dumbass would bite that bait.
The mother is marginally better but still a fucking piece of shit.

Now that I think of it the sister goes above the father. The fucking level of manipulation required to make the sister do all this shit could have been shattered with merely three functioning braincells but no we got braincell 1: "I don't wanna do anything uncomfortable" & braincell 2: "I need dopamine". Man fuck this family.

nah, the sister is the worse, the audacity of losing money then asking others to work to pay it up because you don't want to work. what did you meant you can work when you did work part time nicely. the father as usual apathetic and retard. the mother almost got better but the pressure sure took her into the abyss back.

the mother basically Uchi but already broken and drag uchi with her.

if the mom and father get separate and uchi live with the mother, and father handle the daughter that would be best outcome. dad and sister is extra burden.

Uichi was seriously planning on leaving his family who loved him and raised him high and dry without a care in the world. What an ungrateful, cold-hearted, dishonorable boy. Luckily his father was able to talk some sense into him and prevent him from making the biggest mistake of his life.
If there's one thing all wise people know, it's that family is everything.
Look at the people around you who have cut off their families. Do they seem like happy people to you, or do they seem like the kind of people with much higher rates of drug addiction, mental illnesses, criminal convictions, much higher rates of suicide and depression etc.? I think we all know the answer to that.
By contrast families who stick together are on average much happier and healthier.

Now, why could her watch be malfunctioning? Maybe its outta juice? Or it could be that moment in chapter 31 page 16 (there was also an odd focus on her watch there) when Uichi spoke about them potentially living together. If that's the case maybe the functionality of the watch relies on her mental? And we also still don't know where she got the watch from too. Man the next few chapters are going to go crazy.
