At this point, I’m starting to realize, we are never going to see them in a relationship. The series is going to end at their first kiss like every horrible romantic comedy. I bet it’ll even time skip despite the irony…

After i reading 4 chapters, misunderstanding was successfully resolved through effective communication by MC :meguu:

to inform arisa that Ayako and Takumi are officially dating. And it ends with fanservice scene where they take shower together in the bathroom few pages before the end :worry:

I f*cking hate when the romance goes on forever with stupid drama and weird leaps in logic only to end up with a kiss and nothing else, romance is also the relationship and how people live together, but most authors don't even try to go there...

I am so glad they didn't do the usual trope of immature bullshit; they talked with friends to get another viewpoint while already knowing what they did was wrong, then confronted each other and communicated, like how a relationship is supposed to go. Well done, author!

Damn right. It’s like these mangas are only giving us the crushing or honeymoon phase instead of the main parts of a relationship. Almost as if romance in stories isn’t even the relationship itself. I get that the honeymoon phase is where you get most feels, but this is fiction so they can still make it just as good.

Okay, the author wants some conflict in the relationship, cool, but this is such a terrible setup for this conflict.

"Oh no the ex-girlfriend appears!" is fine by me but she's not the ex-girlfriend because the author wants everyone to be absolutely, entirely pure and untouched by god himself. So she can't be an ex-girlfriend and he can't have lingering feelings for her because he never had any in the first place, so the entire conflict is mostly a dumb misunderstanding.
