Stopped at chapter 18 and waited for new releases, now read up to chapter 29. Started from beginning.
I don't know what happened to me during that pause but rating for it decreased. Yeah FMC behavior is quite annoying, well honestly it's outright despicable.
She has age difference advantage but her actions are of the worst type of women you can meet(it's not about the age it's the type of people) :
1) Stringing you along
2) Taking advantage of you confessing first
3) Being jealous despite not giving you an answer
These things got me thinking how awful she is because she even acknowledged this and even has done those things on purpose to a degree thankfully her daughter pulled her head from the ass.
(Also it's quite rare where i can say MC is good, not some sort wishy washy moron or brain dead ape but is actually a role model for many 20y olds, he is hard working, physically fit, dedicated, loyal and a gentleman in most mangas today we see either scum or losers paraded as role models, of course MC isn't ideal but according to his age I would say he is a damn catch)
Despite all of this i appreciate the author, i may dislike FMC for her actions but author addressed this:
1) Daughter stopped her before she would destroy their relationship
1.1 Her initial actions after his confession is a guide for any person for what not to do IF you want long lasting relationship eventually a person who confessed and started to love you will lose those rose tinted glasses.
2) Initial advices that her "friend" gave her were god awful. And author addressed it actually reference to a point where it was said that she had 3 divorces and no children. What does it mean? While she might be a confidant boss lady with 42 years behind her back she divorced 3 times, she isn't the best person to take advice from about how to go about relationships.
3) There is no winning or losing in relationships, it must go smoothly without counting AND at the same time go equally. When you start to count wins or loses or who loves whom more, it's the end or at least a sign that relationship would be impossibly hard to maintain.
AS for what was annoying after re-reading everything beside FMC, it's that "comedy" element where every time there should be resolution or progress some 3rd wheel comes out of nowhere, it isn't fun to see it every time. MIx it up a bit 1 time for 3rd wheel 2 times for resolution and progress or vice versa when you see 3-4 times consecutive "comedy" element it just screams that author is bad (basically author doesn't want to progress the story but doesn't know how to stop it and uses the same tactic again and again akin to playing fighting game with a person who only knows 1 combo).
