Why do that exposition now? It feels a lot like the 'End', but it's biiiit too soon for that. ...Right?
It's definitely similar to something like Tearmoon Empire.

We know Mia is the Great Sage and becomes a renowned Empress, what matters is how she gets there.

Same here. Knowing that there is a happy ending waiting for us is nice. Now we are invested in how he gets there.

Thanks for the chapter!

Mam, I read the novel so long ago. It's nice to see it again in the form of a manga.

For those that want know the webnovel had a format of a couple chapters from the MC p.o.v, then it was the mercenary p.o.v and finally a small excerpt of what they do in the future or a chapter from the p.o.v of someone that hired them.

I hope that this mc wont be a total whimp. This better be like "Gordon RamIsekai". Dude better start spitting fire to his customers and disciples.

After this narration block, I realize I've read and dropped the WN before. After the umpteenth "peek into the future," I'd hit my "world nerfed by author" limit (which was was alot back in those days).

An adaptation typically cuts down on the word salad of a "paid by word count" author, but also comes with a disconnect / incongruity by the artist (saw a few modern jacket and pants this chapter).

A lot of redundancy. Like when the Magic Girls said that their units couldn't accept a man who can't do magic (engineering)-and then the captain just repeated it in his head.

Holy cow, rereading this chapter and
page 22 essentially showed the foods that would inspire the other heroes.

It's not nice at all, it removes all sense of mystery and tension. I genuinely hate flash forwards like these, it's what made me hate Boruto in the first place (other than Ikemoto being an incompetent creep and the manga just sucking).

The thing is, this "spoiler" only confirms what was already obvious. It doesn't take a genius to look at this series and realize it's a comedy rather than a tragedy. Like, no shit the he comes out on top, it's a fucking cooking manga in a fantasy setting. The real meat of the segment was that it implies to the reader that the mc won't be present in the fantasy world come the end of the story. I say this because the king speaks of his dear friend as if he is no longed present. Think about it, if the mc was still around, why would the king say "my dear friend" rather than the MC's name? This leaves two options: Either mc dies or gets sent back to earth. As previously stated, this is A FUCKING COOKING MANGA. This is very clearly NOT the type of story to kill off the mc. Because of that, the story must conclude with the mc being returned home.

This is a Shōnen, not a Seinen, we were going to be getting a happy ending no matter what. It's literally tagged as a slice of life.

However, I am making some sweeping predictions. As such, I wouldn't bet on the long-term validity of my claims.

Shit, am I over-analyzing this?
