They were Beast kingdom Soldiers, and were likely going to shake down the weak looking mercenary. So of course finding said merc had something tasty they would immediately report it to their commander to either try to poach the cook or lean on the mercs for holding on on premium supplies.LOL are there ppl that don't recognize him as a cook or new soldiers/diff battalion? (well i prolly didn't read it that carefully
They're working with the New Beast army and these soldiers are from that side. Also related to what Asagi (what seems to be the team member we'll focus on for the current and next chapter) was doing, which was getting intel on New BeastCan't go wrong with sandwiches. used to eating katsu with rice but i'd prolly still want a sandwich toasted/heated up versus cold cut meat
lmao imagine screaming about prostitutes like that, other armies would have him locked up for treason/accusing a leader like that XD
Bread and meat i understand but surprised he has access to basil unless they've stopped in some towns/had supplies delivered versus it growing nearby

Or they have set up a gambling den to fleece the ally military of their coin.my guess is boss feels guilty about asking the women sell their bodies for intel
That's exactly what I would expect will happen. TBH I'm more surprised that the merc company was so sloppy with their camp security. Sure I could somewhat understand having a gambling tent near the outter boarder of their area, but intermixing different military camps seems like a good way for theft and fights to occur.Hopefully those soldiers from the other army don't try to steal him away
