I know it as a common courtesy in card games, even just friendly ones, that after shuffling you offer the next person to cut the deck (divide the deck in two stacks at any point of their choosing and put the bottom portion on top). That counteracts most stacked deck techniques because you can't know where the other person will divide the deck.
