NGL, I like this less then if she was a reincarnator. Sure it's a hackneyed, over cooked cliché used by so many others, but this seemed like the perfect place for a homesick princess to have a tastes of nostalgia. Blow her socks off and dissappear into what ever the next battlefield Gungrave had lined up half a continent away.

i remember reading the Wn long ago.

if i remembered it correctly its different.

the WN version, after the victory, the country doesnt have enough resources to give all merc companies an extra/complementary reward for a exemplary results. so she decided to uses her epithet as a gourmand to make it a challange. its very obvious that gungrave`s company did the bulk of things. they were planning to fix the competition.

so they gave a ridiculous task of presenting a sweet, sour, salty, and bitter in 1 dish.
the plan was to have each group make a bad dish and just pick gungrave.
and with their surprise mc delivered with mapo tofu with the added consideration of the cold.
