It was apparently a honorary title he received, so unlikely to be a translation mistake.

Apparently, it used to be the private symbol of the Imperial Family. Considering Nobunaga had ties with the Imperial Family and even held a court rank, it's possible he was allowed to wear clothes with that emblem at some point. I'm not a historian, though, so I might be wrong.

This just seems like it'll be a worse version of Tanya, but I'll give it a shot anyways, I guess. "Uniting the world" is an interesting enough premise. It's also hilarious how this isn't the first Nobunaga genderswap I've seen.
