Kinda the point. The fact that she's named 'Mary Sue' is also super on the nose. She aimed downwards towards her own country, then blamed them. The 203rd was intentionally NOT fighting vertically. She's a fast learner and extremely powerful, but doesn't think 2 steps ahead. She just reacts. If she was able to plan like Tanya was, she'd be unstoppable I would bet. In a very literal sense.

Welp bundles of emotions like her tend to prioritize feelings rather than logics, oppossite of tanya basicly. Welp it give a good dynamics for tanya too annoying as she is.

With every Mary Sue encounter it gets worse and worse. Fights that achieve nothing, pointless braindead missions, asspulls, "cute" childish tantrums, edgy "adult" reactions, OH MY GOD THEY'RE DOING THE THING and of course endless stream of shiny explosions. Is it going for Tanya vs Mary in marvel? Meet new fortnite characters? Bleh. Wherever author is going with this character it's not working. Can't even hate her. She's just too bland, one-sided and cliche.

The author is good at making Mary Sue a psychotic airhead crybaby that we all can hate. A character with too much power, no restraint, no regard for lives unrelated to her and in need of some serious comeuppance.
